The National Library of Belarus and the 'Contact' Center for Additional Education invite you to participate in the new educational and gaming project 'World of Chess'. As part of the project, you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the book exhibition 'Check and Mate' and participate in meetings with Kirill Budkevich, the head of the 'Chess Triathlon' club. The program includes a lecture on August 22 at 14:00 and practical master classes on September 3 and 4 at 17:30. Visitors will learn what a chess triathlon is, the differences between a king and an emperor, as well as unique figures in the most famous non-classical chess. Every visitor, from a beginner to an experienced player, will be able to play their game.
