Fragments of the 'Smaljavachy' Meteorite in Minsk

The Minsk Planetarium will host an exhibition of fragments from the 'Smaljavachy' meteorite, found in the Smolevichi district. The exhibition will open on August 20th at 19:00 in the planetarium's star hall. The meteorite was registered in the international database and recognized as unique for Belarus. The coordinator of the Belarusian Meteor Network, Yuri Goryachko, will talk about the discovery and study of the meteorite. After the lecture, guests will have the opportunity to see fragments of this rare meteorite.
