Premiere of the opera 'Nabucco' at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus

On March 21, the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus will host the grand premiere of the opera 'Nabucco'. This is the third premiere of the 93rd season, and the production is led by the famous Italian director Giancarlo del Monaco. The opera, based on a biblical plot, takes the audience to Jerusalem in 587 BC and tells the story of the Babylonian king-conqueror who, through sins and sufferings, comes to true faith. The work is considered the beginning of the creative ascent of the composer Verdi, who was only 28 years old at the time.
