Unusual Maslenitsa in the Botanical Garden

This weekend, on February 21-22, an extraordinary Maslenitsa with an open-air bath will take place in the Central Botanical Garden. Organizers offer not only traditional pancakes and folk games but also an experience of a wooden bath with a view of the garden's territory. A food court with various fillings, performances by a Cossack ensemble and a cover band, a fire show, and the burning of the Maslenitsa effigy will conclude each day of the celebration. A children's area with a climbing wall and master classes, as well as a craftsmen's fair and folk games, are provided for children and families.
