Meta is launching paid subscriptions for Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus, and WhatsApp Plus, starting at $2.99 per month. The most discussed is Instagram Plus, which promises anonymous story viewing, extending stories for an additional 24 hours, several lists of 'close friends', search by viewers, and additional promotion tools. WhatsApp Plus will offer custom themes, ringtones, premium stickers, and the ability to pin more chats.
